About the Institute
The Westfeldt Institute For Emotional Hygiene, Inc was established in September of 2020 and has three branches: education, support for Emotional Hygiene Coaches, and a publishing company.
The Institute’s education program is comprised of: Foundations of Emotional Hygiene training, Emotional Hygiene Coach programs, online live workshops, local in person workshops, and online self-paced workshops.
Foundations of Emotional Hygiene training:
1) Designed to introduce concepts and provide hands on training allowing students to maintain the permanently life altering and enhancing practice of emotion hygiene.
2) Provides students a possible pathway to our Professional Emotional Hygiene and Certified Emotional Hygiene Coaching programs
Emotional Hygiene Coach programs:
1) Professional Emotional Hygiene Coach training - designed to accelerate students’ self growth and healing, enhance any career working with people, and provide a step board to Emotional Hygiene Coaching as a career.
2) Certified Emotional Hygiene Coach training - designed to provide students the in-depth education, mentorship, experience, and certification to empower them in a career as a Certified Professional Emotional Hygiene coach in private practice.
Workshops:
1) May be delivered in person or online, and they may be live or self-paced.
2) They center on components of human experience which enhance or impede the development of a practice of emotional hygiene (EH).
3) During Spring the Institute’s training focus is on launching the Foundations of Emotional Hygiene and Coaching programs. Live workshops available later this year may include include Boundaries, Codependency, Constructive Conflict, and Emotions 101.
4) We are within weeks of completing the online self-paced versions of the Emotions 101 and Emotion Wheel courses. Other workshops that will be introduced this year include Taming Your Self Judge/Jury/Executioner, Human Attachment & Emotional Hygiene, Anger 101, and Internal Warrior Development - with more to come.
1) An actively marketed directory on the Institute’s website for Certified EH Coaches and also Associate Coaches who are still in training and are working with clients under supervision - that allows prospective clients to find coaches that they can work with who match their experience needs and possible financial limitations, and which provides a starting referral stream for coaches;
2) Education and hands on training with scheduling, calendaring, and payment tools that EH coaches can use while they establish private practices;
3) Ongoing professional/personal supervision and support to developing and established coaches.
4) Provisional access to the Institute’s education materials for use in related careers or in private practice.
The publishing branch of the Institute consists of a company operating under the umbrella of the Institute called Way of the Jaguar Publishing.
1) This company is currently under development for the initial purpose of publishing Tim Westfeldt’s book, Emotional Hygiene, and is being eyed for further development as a publisher for books that promote and support the establishment of emotional hygiene practices in the world.
